Hailee and her puppies were seized and rescued as a part of a larger neglect investigation.  They were living in a very small outdoor pen in their own feces and muck.  They were starving and not socialized. The puppies had skin issues.  We toughed it out and bathed them with stinky lyme sulfur dip weekly while Hailee would watch and bark, and be a very protective mother, but as soon as we moved her puppies elsewhere, Hailee became a cuddle dog. She paws for pets and loves treats of all kinds. She has adapted to indoor life rather well and loves her comfy beds and human friends, young and not so young! She has been learning how to walk on a leash and get in and out of the car and how to "sit" on command. She will be a great addition for any family. Hailee can be adopted, but it will not be finalized until her heartworm treatment is completed.
