Muddy was roaming and trying to find meals in the trash cans of the neighborhood. He was rescued by a very determined and dedicated good Samaritan who bought him lots of hot dogs and finally won his trust, got a leash on him, and secured his safety. Muddy has been neutered, dewormed, is now up to date on vaccinations but has heartworm disease. He is available for a foster to adopt family but must complete treatment before an adoption will be finalized.(Treatment is covered by rescue). Muddy is learning how to be a family member instead of a street dog. He is very sweet and has a foster brother currently. He has blossomed from acting like a plant to acting like a dog. We think he's ready for his forever family! He is very chill, but can be a joker. He loves to walk and hike and play outside, but adapts easily inside too. Because we are foster based, we require an approved application before a meet and greet can be scheduled. We think that is fair for our fosters so every meet and greet has the potential to result in an adoption. Woof
